Grown in a 100mm size pot.
This plant grows from a bulb just below the surface and will reach about 8cm across when fully grown. Leaves appear in early autumn through till the next spring when they should be allowed to dry out to being a summer dormancy. Tall upright flower spikes spear in late autumn and produce large green flowers for up to 2 to 3 months. Water well throughout the cooler months, plants should be aloud to dry out from early summer to the end of summer with only occasional watering, this will allow the leaves to die off and the plant to rest until the next autumn! Growth will be slower if plants do not have a summer rest. Repot bulbs in late summer and water well from the start of autumn, feed through out the winter months. Strong sun is needed to produce the tight compact Curley foliage! This plant will do better out doors with full sun or any well lit area indoors, can tolerate low frost!
